2003

Andrian Shapiro and Alex Matov founded LBC Boston in June 2003. “Sky is the limit”, said Mr. Shapiro when the company's certificate of incorporation was received. “It is not, if they allow construction on Mars”, replied Matov. This was the day on which an ambitious and resourceful company was born.

2012

LBC Boston sponsors the complete redevelopment of one of the Lowell mills, the 19th-century textile mills that operated in the city of Lowell, Massachusetts. The city was named after Francis Cabot Lowell who introduced a new manufacturing system called the "Lowell system", also known as the "Waltham-Lowell system".

2014

LBC Boston acquires real estate portfolio in Downtown Quincy, including the IHOP restaurant, the building that once held Outback Steakhouse and the properties at the corner of Cottage Avenue and Hancock Street. Under the leadership of Andrian Shapiro and Alex Matov, LBC Boston becomes a dedicated developer in the City of Quincy.

2017

In August 2017 the first residential complex of LBC Boston is officially completed and ready to welcome its first residents. Nova Brighton Residences, the redevelopment of a Brighton office building, now offers studios, one- and two-bedroom units, including 10 affordable units, in a six-story building.

2019

In September 2019 the second residential complex of LBC Boston is officially completed and opens its shiny doors to new tenants. Nova Quincy Residences, the newly built construction, now offers studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments, including 41 smart ORI units, in a seven-story building.

2019

LBC Boston finishes the restoration of Temple B’Nai Moshe, a synagogue serving the greater Boston Jewish community.

2020

In December 2020, LBC Boston has officially been given the go-ahead by the Quincy City Council to proceed with building of two mixed-used developments with 350 residential units and commercial space on what was formerly the Hancock parking lot downtown.
